  • Wine Pairing Suggestions

It makes a perfect match for foie gras with fig jam as Melissea’s full body and sweet flavors will harmonize well with the buttery foie gras and the sweet flavors of the fig jam. A creme brulee makes a great pair for this wine as the creamy custard and the caramelized sugar top complement the wine’s sweetness and aromatic complexity. There are also vegan options that pair excellently with Melissea. Roasted figs with balsamic glaze  pairs well with wine’s honeyed and fruity notes. Also macaroons create an excellent combination with the wine as the chewy texture of the macaroons enhance the wine’s floral and sweet elements.
