Organoleptic Characteristics 

  • Appearance: Deep ruby color
  • Nose: Aroma Characteristics from red cherry, raspberry, blueberry and herbal notes of thyme and fresh pine to vanilla, coffee and cacao. 
  • Palate: It is a dry wine with refreshing acidity, grippy tannins, and full body.
  • Wine Pairing Suggestions

    It pairs perfectly with grilled and roasted red meat like beef, lamb or venison. Game meat such as boar, duck or pheasant can handle the Vertzami’s intensity. Also strong, aged cheeses such as pecorino, aged Gouda or Manchego and traditional Greek dishes like moussaka, 

    match well with Vertzami’s bold flavor profile. There are also vegan options that pair excellently with Vertzami. Eggplant based dishes like imam bayildi as well as mushroom based dishes like mushroom risotto or grilled portobello mushrooms can stand with Vertzami’s bold flavors.
